TECHNICAL DATA — General Features
This demonstrator kit enable student to understanding the relations between the field excitation, rotor speed, the open circuit armature voltage and the short circuit current. The kits shall also allow student to indicate whether two periodic motions are synchronous.

This demonstrator support large numbers of alternators in parallel and additional alternators which can be switch in when demand rises.

It is a modular training system for performing various experiments in electrical parallel operation controls.

The demonstrator consists of various modules and accessories.

GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS
The equipment must cover the learning objectives via all experiment. Experimental panel must be a mobilise workstation type with lockable castor wheels.

The equipment covering the learning objectives via experiment includes:
• Effective resistance of an alternator
• Mechanical and iron losses of a synchronous generator
• Synchronous generator parameters and open circuit
• Ohm and stray losses of a synchronous generator
• Synchronous generator parameters and short circuit
• Synchronous reactance of open and short circuit
• Conventional efficiency of open and short circuit
• Synchronize the three-phase alternators by using lamp method & synchronous scope
• Response of the alternator on a constant voltage constant frequency system
